GEORGE AND GEORGE CLUB. 1 The annual meeting of the George and George Cricket Club was held on Tuesday evening, and was presided over by Mr. L. George. The thanks of the club are due to Messrs. George and George, Mr. J. M'Eldowney, Mr. C. G. Wilson, and Mr. Stone for donations a'nd trophies given last season. ■ The club were congratulated on winning the Wednesday 'Junior Ci'icket Association Championship, also' the "Winder Cup." Tho election of officers for the ensuing year was 'as follows;— President, Mr. Jacob M'Eldowney; vicenresidents, Messrs. Alex. M'Eldowney, C. G. Wilson, Stone, Molliuson, Fox, Seville, Paget Lepper, Jones, Roberts, T. HJacky, Morish, . Brown, . Kinvig, Caterer, Rushbrook, Keith, B. Van Stavoren, A. A. George, and Brice; secretary, Mr. E., Wilson.; treasurer, Mr: B. Mollinson; custodian, Mr. A. [Adams; assistant custodian, Mr. J. Spiro; field captain, Mr. It. 0. Robertson ; vice-captain, Mr. C. Clapshaw; management comnritlee, Messrs. Robertson, Leppor ; Mollison, and Wilson; selection committee, Messrs. Robertson, Clapshaw, and Wilson. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the outgoingsecretary and .treasurer, Mr A". Adams, for the able manner in which he carried out his duties. Eleven new members have joined the club this season. Tho meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to the chairman.

WAREHOUSEMEN'S ASSOCIATION. Mr. A. Simm presided at tho annual meeting .of delegates to the Wellington Warehousemen's Cricket Association held last night. The annual report and balance-sheet wero adopted. , The report stated that the season 1913-1914 had been a very successful one, the contest for the Keruot Cup being an interesting one. The secretary would like to impress upon the club secretaries the necessity of advising , him promptly of the results of their.'games, and the advisability of sending reports to the papers. It is hard to say how the war will affect the association, but it is hoped that members will make every effort to carry on, ;and if they do this a successful season should bo assured. A credit balance of £20 12s, Bd. was shown by 'the balance-sheet, and the assets were shown as £42 19s. Bd., and the liabilities nil. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow:—President, Mr. . A, E. Kernot; vice-presidents, Messrs. P. G. Dalziell, J. P. Luke, M. Cable, J. R. Orchiston, L. D. Whitcombe, W. 'Breedy, R. W. M'Villy, F. G. Page, and Superintendent Ellison: hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. John Leddy; hon. auditor, Mr. R. Ryalls; management committee, Messrs. C. Castle, J. W. J. Goddard, B. P. Gully, and 0. W. 11. Watson; postponement committee, Messrs. C. Castle, John Leddy, and J. Mageo; chairman of all committees, Mr. A. Simm.
