BOROUGH COUNCIL'MEETING. At last night's meeting of the Karori Borough Council, the Mayor (Mr. W, T. Hifdreth) presided, and there, were also present: Councillors B. G. Burn, W. Bradnock, A. Hamilton, L. 1 , . Davies, P. 0. Jordan, J. W. Henderson, T. R. Boyes, AY. Skegg, and C. T. Cimino. Correspondence betweon the . Mayor and the Tramway Board of Management in regard to the Karori tram service was lead. The council is still waiting a roply from the board in the matters of (1) reduction of car mileage, (2) abolition of stop-over time, and (3) revised time-table. Tho Works Committee adhored to tho recommendation, but on being put to the vote tho clause in the report referring to the matter was struck out on the casting vote of the Mayor...
