■ WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. The committee of the Wellington Cricket Association met last evening, Mr. C. G. Wilson presiding. The following were also present: Messrs. F. A. Midlanc, H. E. Burton, M. J. Crombie, E. M. Martin, E. M. Beechey, S. Brice, and J. I* , . Fanning. The following representative matches liavo already oeen arranged for tho 1914-15 season:—Wellington v. Auckland, at Auckland, on December 25, 20, and 28; v. Otago, at Wellington, January 1, 2, and 3; v. Canterbury, at Wellington, January, 8, 9, and 11. A letter was received from the Southland Cricket Association suggesting that a. match should be played against Wellington on January, 8, 9. and 11. As theso dates havo been allotted to Canterbury, it was decided to suggest January 22 and 23 as suitable dates for the Southland fixture. , .

The Hiwke's Bay Association wrote asking for dates for a representative match during January. It was decided to send a reply giving details of the programme already arranged, and asking for. suggested dates for the match. On account of most of the Artillery Club's players having been taken for active service, there will be no entries from that quarter this season Entries were received from seven senior, thirteen junior, and eleven thirdclass teams. On the motion of Mr. S. Brico it was decided that the senior clubs be reclassified. and that the Hutt Club be classified as juniors. This left six seniors, twelve juniors, and twelve third-class teams in the competitions. Considerable discussion took place over the question of the junior and third-class teams being split up into city and suburban classes. It was pointed out that there were eight city junior and third-class teams respectively, and .four junior and third-class country teams. It was finnlly resolved that the two competitions lie split up accordingly,'and that the winners of'the city competition should play the winners of the country competition in each class in,tho final for tho junior and third-clas.3 championships respectively.
