'BANKRUPT MILKMAN'S STORY. (By Tolesraph.—Special Correspondent.) Palmerston North, October 10. George Pedley, a milk vendor, in a statement to the first meeting of his creditors on Friday, said that he was in a good' financial position four years ago but he strained his spinal cord, had'undergone three operations, and had been under ten different doctors. Ho had n wife and six children, and his debts were chiefly contracted while ho was in the hospital. "My six children," he said, "bave practically no clothes. One should be going to school, but I can't clothe her.
