OFFICIAL RESTRICTIONS. It , has already been stated, though unofficially, that British soldiers at tie front will only be allowed to communicate with their friends at home by postcard, and that the postmarks will "be obliterated in order that the position of the British force shall not.be known. Press- Bureau issued the following statement on the subject i — • All correspondence irom all_ ranks of thb troops on active service is subject to strict censorship. _ The delay and inconvenience of sending this can be avoided by the use of the printed postcards supplied free.
