CHARGES OF FORGERY. Lawrence Gerard Healy, a gunner" in the Royal New Zealand Artillery, was charged before Mr. D. G. A. Bothcharges were indictable ones, Mr. H. F. 0 Leary appearing. for accused. Jolin (fßobertson i captain in the-New Zealand'"Staff 'Corps and Deputy-Assistant Quartermaster-Gen-eral, in his evidence said that during August he' was an official at the .Defence'. Department'in 'Buckle Street.' During'that time acoused might have been employed-as orderly to "Colonel Johnston, and would have had ample opportunity to examine his (witness's) signature Witness had not signed the orders produced in court.
