Though ono or two showers fell earlv in tho afternoon, the weather cleared subsequently. Tho attendance of the public was satisfactory, and everything went off without a hiteh. Moulu was in charge turning to the straight, but Martius raced up to the leaders and was in charge as they reached the distance, but Moonglow, with a eood finish, beat Martius'by a neck.
