BERLIN OFFICIAL LIST Rome, October 7, The official list at Berlin gives the German losses, killed and missing to, September 1, as 117,000. ■ ~ x , x ' The authorities admit that the total losses to date are 300,000. ONLY SMALL BRITISH LOSSES OP LATE. • , London, October 7. Mr. William Maxwell, the "Daily Telegraph's" correspondent, states that the British casualties during the past three '.weeks were insignificant. Fourteen out of twenty German howitzer shells 'fail to burst. The British trcops, after four days in the trenches, are allowed two days' rest.
