A GENEROUS OFFER

TOBACCO FOR THE TROOPS. A CHANCE FOR CITIZENS TO 1 CONTRIBUTE. Many of tho newspapers in England have opened subscription lists to provide comforts for the British troops at the firing lino whilst on the Continent ot Europe; ono of the principal items suggested being the supply of tobacco and cigarettes. Wills offer to extend this offer to the Expeditionary Forces from the Oversea Dominions, providing subscriptions were forthcoming from the countries concerned.

A movement is "afloat to take advantage of this offer on behalf of tho New Zealand Expeditionary Force.
