Their fortified positions on the frontier are supported by numerous siege guns. Very fierce fighting is in progress at Baklarzevo, in the Suwalki district. Aviators' reconnaissances show that there is an uninterrupted movement of German columns and transport trains withdrawing across the frontier. ._ BakJarzovo, or Bakalarshewo, lies eleven miles west of Suwalki, and a mile or two distant from the German frontier.
