The Wellington Orphans' Club will close its session on Saturday next. It is expected that Sir Alexander Godlcy will be present. An excellent proftrammo has been arranged for the evening, consisting of items from Dr. Norman Hales, Messrs. Ernest Luks, C. Clarkson, N. Aitken, .Conrterioy V. Mohr, J. Culford Bell, R. S. AllVright, Waldemnr, Eiby, Exton, J. Zachariah, W. Goudie, and many other well-known artists. A certain justice of the peace in Maryland evidently imagines that cows enn rend big print. He recently gave a verdict against a railway company for killing a cow near a road crossing, for the reason that "the defendant had no sign up at the crossing."
