PIGEON-RACING

The Wellington Homing Pigeon Society flew a race- on Saturday last from Waipawa, ICO birds, representing fifteen lofts, competing. The result was:—P. W. Lamb's Little Mint, 1150 yards per minute, 1; A. Clark's No. 200, 1143.9 yards per'minute, 2; K. Hoaro's No. 100, 11.J3.6 yards per minute, 3; J. Bolton'e No. 3-17, 1142 yards per minute, 4; F. Langdon's No. 399, 1141 yards per minute, 5; J. H. Clark's S.P.G., H4O yards per minute, 6. Mr. Lamb wins the trophy presented by Mr. E. Dawson.
