CREYTOWN.

A meeting of the' Greytown Borough Cotmoil was held on Monday evening. The Huntly Town Board wrote asking tho council to give assistance in aid or the late disaster. It was decided to open a list. Tho Greytown District High School Committee wrote urging the council to divert stock from East Street. It was 'decided that the council could not at present do so. The Automobile Association again • requested the council to take out of tho centre of tbe road certain lamp-posts. Tho request wasnot entertained. Tho Works Committee reported taking out an old bridge at the junctiou of Wood End Mole Streets, and putting in a concrete culvert; also that tho brirlgo over tbe Mangaraira would now be gone on with. Mr. H. S. Brooks vras appointed sexton, vice Mr. Davis, resigned. The Mayor fiald » poll would bo taken on November 12 for the v/ater and drainage sehemo. • ■ ' • •
