NORTH CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING. Mr. J. H. Fairbairn pwsided at the annual general meetinß of tho 'WeUm"tpn North Cricket Club, held last night, lhero was a good- attendance, and during the meeting several new members wero'elected. . The'aiiiilial report (already published) nnd tho balance-sheet were adopted. "In moving the adoption of the "report, the chairman congratulated members on the success of the club's teams during the past season. Ho regretted that the finances vrero not yet in such a healthy condition as vras desirable, but probably at the ond of tho corning season tho position would havo improved.' Ho would be only too willing to do anytlung ho could to help. (Hear, hear.) A letter was read from tho chairman (Mr.' Fairbairn) enclosing a cheque of two guineas as a donation to tho club's funds, and Sir. Fairbairn promised thai ha would donate a further to provide a trophy for the member registering the highest individual score during ttio sown. On tho motion of Mr. M. JVCrombie, a vote of thanks was accorded Mr. Fairbairn for tho practical interest he waa taking in tlie welfare of the club. A motion was carried recommending the- incoming ■ committee to secure a ptactice wicket and a club-room on the liasin Reserve. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—President, the Hon. H. D. KILBIRNIE CLUB. The "annual meeting of the Kilbirnie Cricket Club was held in St. Thomas's Schoolroom, Riddiford Street, last night. Mr. W. Russell presided. _ The annual report and balance-sheet wore adopted. , The latter showed a credit balance of £5.i . •. . ' .>-.
