COUNTESS OF LIVERPOOL'S FUND
The following letter has boon received from the.Countess of Liverpool: — "As soon as the Expeditionary Force has left New Zealand I intend to publish, 'throughvthe medium' of tho Press, the manner in whichthe fund has heeu disposed of. ) ', "As all are aware, there will be reinforcements to bo provided for, which will-bo drawn from all the four military centres, but which will bo located previous to departuro at Trentham. These men, I understand, will proceed to fbo front at certain stated intervals., and I intend to utilise the balance of the money which.is at my disposal to deal with these objects.: • "Iu the case of anyone_having articles which they are proposing to utilise for these reinforcements, if would bo best,,in order to ensure proper supervision, and in order that they 'may reach 'tho detachments for which they are intended, that they should be sent to the Town Hall, Wellington, addressed to Her Excellency the Countess of Liverpool;' c.b. the Mayoress, Town Hall,, Wellington.—(Signed) Annette Liverpool." ..,'■■; ' .
