TROOPERS' CONCERTS
'; The.-first. series of picture shows for : the entertainment of members of the -Expeditionary Force ,was provided, at '■■■'■ the "U" Shed, on. Queen's -Wharf, last night by Mr. Chas. MacMahon, of the Now -Theatre. The show ran from 7.15 p.m. until 9 p.m., and was largely attended, there being, upwards'of-700 '. mon present. •';• . .'■-•, '. ■ ■ Soma slight alteration has been made %in the list-of concerts for the troopers \ .- as published yesterday. .' The list up to . Tuesday stands as published; On Wednesday there will be the grand nayal military concert in . the Grand Opera, • ." House,.'and the fixtures to follow, are :— October 8 (Thursday), Highland concert; October 9 (Friday), picture show; October 10 (Saturday),. Messrs. G. P. ."*v —'Wilson and it. E. Lyon's concert; October 11 (Sunday), sacred service by ''. y.M.C.A.; October 12 (Monday), variety ebneert by Salvation Army; October 13 (Tuesday), • Wellington Pipe.Bandconcert; October 14 (Wednesday), Mr. Percival Clark's-concert; October 15 (Thursday), Mr. j; F. Carr's ■ party; October 16 (Friday), picture show/ :-- ''The concert that is beilig arranged for nest • Wednesday evening at the Grand Opera House- by Mr. James ' Dykes.for tho Patriotic Sports and En- . tertainment Committee, is.expected to be well patronised.'
