LAWN TENNIS
An enjoyable Yankee combined tour- : nament was played at 'the Wellington i Tennis Club's courts, Palmer Street, on j Dominion Day, twenty-four-taking part, j including several visitors from other j clubs. Some fifty game's were played ! and resulted as follow:—Miss Williams j and N. Ohilwon (scratch), 18 points; ; Mrs. Grady and It. Grace, 16 points; ; Miss U. Rigg and It. J. Grant, 10 t points; Miss K. Francis and F. Grady, 10 points; Miss L. Millington and W. D. Irons', 9 points; Miss I. Pearson and G. AV. Clinkard, 8 poiuts; Miss E. Plimmer' and N. Irons, 8 points; Miss E. Mack and F. W: Crombie, 6 points j Miss L. Thompson and E. C. Price, 6 points; Miss D. A r eitch and , B. Staveron, -2 points.
