PATRIOTIC CONCERT.

The Masonic Hall at Berhampore was well filled last evening, when a. patriotic concert was held under the auspices of tho Baptist Y.M.B..class, in aid of the Mayor's: Distress Fund. Mr. A. A.. Wiiitelaw presided. Tho programme was opened witlv tho National Anthem, and items wero "given as under:—Humorous sketch, Mr. E. G. Peek; iiistrumentnl trio, Miss Dprts, Messrs. Walker and Moore; recital, Miss Nell Nees; song, Mr. F. A. Nees; hiimorouc- song, Miss AV. Lonsifale; contralto solo, Miss E. M. Smith; violin duet, Miss E. Russell and Mr. Percival Clarke ;■ song, Mr...Hamilton Hodges; recitals, Miss Betty Pnrdon ; song, Miss Gladys Watkins; clarinot solo, Mr. A. Moore; .-humorous sons, Mr. -W. B. Eearney; recital. Mr. J, Culford Bell; patriotic song and tableau, Mr. F. A. Nees. ' . The concert was under tho' direction of Mr. E. G. Pock, with Mr. B. Howati as secretary. Tho accompanists we're: t MissfM.
