The excellent match performances, of Rifleman, _F. .\V. Ching were too irameroue to detail, and the club took, the opportunity of recording its admiration of. Ching's performances. Performances by two other members were- also ' worthy' of special mention, viz., a "centnry" scored by Faulkner, end two consecutive possibles scored by Low (the previous club champion). . ■ The chib welcomed the considera-i tion. shown towards thovrifle club movement hy the Minister of Defence (the Hon. J.' Allen), in respect of monetary grants for tho. encouragement of rifle shooting. o It was announced that Mrs. T. P. Halpin had again donated ; e silver medal and clip- for rifle shooting."'
