Corinthians then' made several brief entries into the enemy's territory only to be forced back. Thistle continued to attack and fired the ball, at Corinthians' goal on several occasions. Subsequently Barn'ett secured on the left wing, and, after a pretty niece of play, he centred nicely to Feraison, and the latter just tipped the ball into the net. For some time the attack was made very hot. .At last patience was rewarded and Miller, after a beautiful run from near the half-way line, went through and scored amidst much opposition.. A few minutes ..later Dick scored the fourth sroal for his side. These reverses appeared to nut Corinthians on their mettle, but in vain.
