CENTRAL CLUB'S FIRST MEETING. ~ The first meeting of the, newly-form-ed Central Baseball Club was held last evening, Mr.. S. Moore presiding. It was decided to make the senior and junior subscription 55., boys 25., and hon. members 2s. 6d. The question.of club colours was held over till a meeting of the management committee is held. A sub-committee . consisting the following was sot up io draw up bylaws, etc.:—Messrs. J. V. M'Donald, B. Willis,- S. Walters,.and S. Moore. 1 It was announced that the membership of the club was 30. It was decided that . instruction classes bo held every alternate Friday. The- election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr. J. P. Luke'; vice-presidents,. Dr. T. Hales, Mtssrs. W. Duncan, A. Ross, E. I. Proud,. J, Fuller, junr.; club captain, Mr. J. V. M'Donald; secretary, Mr. B. Willis; ■ treasurer, .Mr. S. Ross; management committee, Messrs. F. Alexander, S. Moore, J. V. M'Donald, E. Perry, A. Thompson, F. Walters; selection committee, Messrs. J. V. M'Donald and F. Walters.
