ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
KILLED BY A FALL OF ROCIC. IN THE WATCHMAN MINE. I ■ (By Telegraph-Prees Association.) Thames, September 25. A fatality occurred in the Watchman Mino last night. A man named Teddy Marks, singlo, aged 40, was killed while working on a. stopo. A fall of rock occurred, pinning tho victim. Marks was extricated by his mates, but died onreaching the level, his back being broken. LITTLE BOY INJURED. A little boy named Brew, whose par-' ents live at 20 Adelaide Road, was admitted to the Hospital yesterday suffering from a.broken leg. It is understood the little fellow fell down in a school ground where he was plaving. Ho was reported last evening to bo doing as well as could be expected. BELMONT RAILWAY FATALITY. The inquest on tho body of James Kilminster, who died from injuries received as tho result of being knocked down by a train at Belmont on Tuesday, was opened by Mr. D. 6. A. Cooper, S.M., at the Wellington Hospital yesterday afternoon. The inquest was adjourned tili 10.45 o'clock. this morning, pending formal evidence of identification.
