THE WAR LOAN
ARRANGED ON FAIR TERMS.
Once or twice recently statements, none of them very definite, liavo been mad© about a war loan procured or to be procured by the New Zealand Government. The Hon. J. Allen, Minister of Finance, in reply to a question on the subject'last night said: "There is some arrangement with the British Government- under which we can got a loan if wo require it on very fair terms. I don't think I can mention; the-cxact arrangement."., Mr. Allen also declined to mention the amount' of the loan.
