■ T The Konini Football Club was successful in winning the Bush Eugby Union senior and junior championshipshields last winter. The trophies were presented to the winners at tho annual social held yesterday evening The Right Rev. Archbishop O'Shea, of Wellington, will pay his first official visit to Pahiatua on Sunday, October 4. when he will administer the sacrament of the confirmation in tho Pahiatua Roman Catholic Church. It is expected that about 80 candidates will be presented for confirmation. Mr. F. Ejiann, formerly of the Mαngatainoka Oheese Factory staff, who has been appointed manager of the Obau Cheese Factory, in tie Levin district, left to tako up his new duties yesterday. Mr. Enapp, who had been connected with tho Mangatainqka staff for nearly five years, had been first assistant during the past three seasons. His position at the Alangatainoka Factory has been filled by Mr. H. Anderson, formerly second assistant, while Mr. B. Harvey has been appointed second assistant.
