Passengers by the Paroo from Singa pore report that the City of Lincoli was sunk off Ponang (Straits Settle ments) by a German cruiser. The steamer Moresby brings newt 'that the Burns-Philp steamer Indiana, a small vessel of 699 tons, is hold by the Germans as a prize at Joliiel, in the Marshall Islands. The captain and crew, also Mr. Hayes, tho company's agent, are safe, and are held as ?irisoners of war. The ''firm's other sland steamers are safe.
