LAWN TENNIS
The annual general meeting of the Kliandallah Lawri Tennis' Club was held in the Kliandallah. Anglican School Room on Friday evening. _ Mr. F. Holdsworth (president) occupied tho chair. The animal report and balance-sheet, which showed that _ the club was in a sound financial position, was adopted. The following were the officers elected for the ensuuig year:—President, Mr. F. Holdsworth; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. O. Crump, H. S. Pollen, J. A. Plim-. mer, J. G. Smith, S. C. G. Vickers, H. W. Williams, and Rev. J. Cumrmng; general committee, Misses Cowles, Finn, and B. M'Kay, Messrs. Casey, Nelson, and Porter; selection committee,_ Miss Finn, Messrs. Porter, and .Robieson; hon. auditor, Mr. H. Jerram; delegate to Tennis Association, Mr. I/. Porter; secretary and treasurer, Mr. N. A. Robieson. ' • , A hearty vote of thanks was passed for services rendered by the outgoing committee, also the late secretary (Mr. S Hodgson), who has held the position for a number of years, and has done much good work for the club. J.ne official opening of tho season will probably take place on October 10.
