CRICKET.

The fourth annual meeting of St. David's Cricket Club.was held on Friday. The report congratulated the club upon its position in the third-class championship, the club having ended in the third position upon the ladder. The report also congratulated the club en the great improvement shown in their batting last year, and expressed the hope that with practice this should .be improved even more. It wasdecided to enter two teams this year, ono in the junior and one in tho third-class competitions of the Wellington Cricket Association. Ten new members wore elected. The'following.officers were elected; Patron, the Rev. Todd; vice-patron, Mr. T. M. Will'ord; president, Mr.. Burd; vice-presidents, Messrs. Haggett, Kean, W. G. Loddcr, Gorrie, M'lntyre, J. Cotton, J. Stewart, W. 13. Nicholson, and H. Green; secretary and treasurer, Mr. R. M'Connell; Management Committee, Messrs. Thomson, Wilson, Powell, Thomas, and Gosney; auditors, Messrs. H. Green and H. Naughton; delegate to Cricket Association, Mr. R. M'Connell.

. VICTORIA COLLEGE.CLTJB. . At the annual meeting of the Victoria College Club, Professor Hunter presided over a small attendance. The report, which was adopted, showed that the club was in a sound condition financially. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Professor Hunter; president, •Professor Adamson; vicepresidents, Members of ',' the ■ College Council and Professorial Board, and Messrs. J. P. Firth, Max Eichelbaum, A. C.. Gifford, Ivor Davey, and W. H. Rountree; club captain, Mr.' P. B. Broad; secretary, Mr. J. Fanning; treasurer, Mr. E. Le Grove; committee, Messrs. S. W. Dempscy, F. M.
