Tho extra space!so acquired will bo supplemented by a mezzanine'floor, which has already been in the first-floor foyer, where a number of sets of shelves have been for the reception of that class':of book that is not in everyday use, but is on rare occasions inquired for and must be kept. The virtue of having this additional space, is. that.room will be available on the other shelves for books which deserve a place there.
