EPIDEMIC AT GREYMOUTH
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Greymouth, September 18. The local health authorities are moving in the direction of taking extra precautionary measures to stamp out scarlet fever, of which ■ the first case was reported in this district nine months ago. At present there are ten cases in hospital and, six to be admitted. There have also been two cases of diphtheria, one with fatal results. Children aro.principally affected.
