LE PALAIS DE DANSE
On. Monday evening next, in'aid of the War.Fund, Le Palais de Danse, in Vivian Street, will be opened to the public for the first time. The manager, Mr. E. Donnelly, has consented to donate the first night s takings to the War Fund. The spacious floor of the old Skating Rink is handsomely decorated and appointed on the lines of the popular tango halls in Sydney and . Melbourne. The charge for admission (fo Monday evening only) will be 2s. ■■ This will entitle the holder to the dif- ■ ferent dances, including the tango, one- ; step, and hesitation waltz, which will be in progress froii the opening time, . 8 p.m., till 11 p.m. A special orchestra will be in attendance, and light refreshments will be obtainable for 3d. i The charge for admission on ordinary evenings will.be 6d., while the charges . for danping .will, be as follow:—Single ■ dance ticket, 3d.; six-dance ticket, Is.; twelve-dance tickets, Is. 6d., available for use at any time. Mr. F. Fitzmaurioe, tango expert, from the Salon de Luxe, Sydney, is now forming morning and afternoon classes for tuition.
