LENGTH OF THE SESSION
GOVERNMENT PROGRAMME STANDS. On being questioned last evening regarding the probable length of tho session, the Prime Minister said that it was rather too early to ask that question. "There is no .sign yet of the session coming to an end,'' he said. "We have our work to do, and we intend to do it."' ' CONFERENCE OF LEADERS POSTPONED. . Sir Joseph Ward is still laid up with a swollen knee. The Prime Minister called on" him yesterday, ■ and as a result of the interview it has been decided to defer. the conference regarding the elections until Saturday nest.
