CARTERTON.
A slight shock of earthquake was felt in Carterton at abemt 12,30 on Tuesday morning. It- is .reported that Mr. & Vennell has,disposed of his interest in the Glad-stoiie-Carterton mail service to Mr. Raine, of Eketahuna. Mr. N. Noilsen, of Dalefield, who has been in-bad health for some time, was admitted to the Mastorton Hospital on Monday. • '
