MISSIONARY EXHIBITION
. A meeting of the Marsden Exhibition Committee of St. Paul's Parish was held in the vicarage on Tuesday night, the Rev. C. H. Harvey presiding. There was a large attendance and great interest was 'taken in the proceedings. Letters from the Rev. A. M. Johnson, who is at present in England, were read. Mr. Johnson forwarded a collection of literature concerning the Universities' Mission to Central Africa and a large number of picture post-cards. He Btated that he had been able to obtain the loan of two collections of curios and other 'articles illustrative of the manners and daily life of the peoples among whom the Universities' Mission is working. Hβ also announced that the Rev.. Otho Fitzgerald, who was at one time secretary for the mission, had promised to come out to Now Zealand and give addresses at the Exhibition. ■ General satisfaction was expressed by those present at the success of Mr. Johnson's efforts in England. A small sub-com-mittee was set up to arrange fpr various tableaux. The indications are that St. Paul's Court will bo a decidedly interesting one, and the committee and their friends seem determined to make their part of the exhibition worthy of the parish nnd of the Universities' Mission to Central Africa, the activities of which are to be represented in *. St. Paul's Court. v ■ • '
