The first annual meeting of the above club will be held at Levjn '.to-morrow. Excursion faros from. Wellington and Palmorston and other stations along the line have been'granted by the Rail-, way Department.'' Capital acceptances havo been received for the _ trotting events. Horses from Ohristehureli, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, M.isterion, and other districts are competing. This being the .first trotting meeting held in the Horow'lienua district, a large attendance is expected.
