WELLINGTON HOTELS
POLICE REPORT SATISFACTORY. The quarterly meeting of the Wellington District Licensing Bench, was held at midday yesterday. Mr. "W. 6. Kiddeli, S.M., presided, and there were also present: Messrs. R. Fletcher, G. l'etherick, and J. Smith. The chairman remarked that the police report for the past quarter was a satisfactory one. • , Transfers were approved of as follow:—Grand Hotel (John Beveridge to E. L. Chaifey); Central Hotel (T. Fisher to S. J. Whiteford); Royal Tiger Hotel (M. M'lntosh to Martin Gleeson); Royal Hotel (E. M. Davey to John Conhgl) ; Thistle Imi (B. Keeney to Win". Haiuiafin); Imperial Hotel (Hy. Goodwin to T. S. M'Guire).
