A BLANKET FUND
AN IDEA FOR WELLINGTON. In-connection with the Blanket Fund that is being raised in Christchurch to purchase blankets for tho destitute of Belgium and Great Britain, the objective is to purchaso'loo,ooo pairs of New Zealand-made all-wool blankets, which the organisers are positive will be welcomed by those whose homes have been destroyed in view of the,approach of the severe European winter, which will show its fangs towards the end of next week. It is understood that a- similar .movement may bo started in Wellington to provide blankets for the homeless families of Northern Franco.
