AH INSANE FATHER
ACQUITTED OP MURDER CHARGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) (Rec. September 4, 8.30 p.m.) "Y Sydney, September 4. George Cottle has been, found not guilty on tlio charge of murdering his children, on the ground.of insanity. After visiting friends with his wife and children, Cottle, who is 29 years of ago, took his two sons, aged 6 and 3 respectively, for a walk. A fow minutes lator the three were found in a back lane, the man with his throat cut, and his two children lying beside him, their heads almost severed. Cottle's injury was severe. He was of a jealous disposition. Tho tragedy, took place about May 13.
