The House- of Representatives sat at 7.30 p.m. ' Mr. J. CRAIGIE (Tiinaru) presented a petition bearing 1179 signatures praying that the General Elections be; postponed . The Right Hon. WY F. MASSEY (Minister of Lands) presented the annual report of surrey operations. <The Committee to investigate and report upon skipping fares and freights was set up on the motion of the Prjme Minister, in accordance with notice , given the preceding day. The House adjourned at 0.13 a:m. until 7.30 p.m. to-day.
