Concerning the wreck of the Welling-ton-owned four-masted bnrquentine Titania on Dumbca Reef, New Caledonia, on. August 22. messages have been received in Wellington stating that tho vessel is a total loss. Tho crew is safe. Captain F. Holm, of Wellington, who was a part owner in the Titania, was in chargo of the vessel, and 0116 of his sons was second mate.
