LODGE IVANHOE AND THE GRAND LODGE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association,) Dunetlin, August 26. ■ Mr. Justice Sim delivered judgment this morning in the case of Cliff and trustees of Lodge Ivanhoe, v. 'Bryant and others, trustees of the Grand Lodge of Druids,of Otago» and Southland, and tho Registrar' of Friendly Societies. At a meeting of the Grand Lodge in March last it was resolveo. to make certain amendments in tho so ciety rules. Application was made to the. Registrar of Friendly Societies to register theso amendments under the Act,' but. the plaintiffs objected to their registration on the ground, that ' the amendments were contrary to tho provisions of tho Firendly Societies Act, 1809, .and on the further ground that they had not been made in accord with the rules of the society. Mr. Justice Sim ruled that plaintiffs wore entitled to an injunction to restrain the registration of tho rules relating to the proposed consolidation funds.
