WELLINGTON HOSPITAL BOARD

The Wellington District Hospital and Charitable Aid Board mot yesterday. Tho Rev. W. A. Evans presided. It was reported that the sum of £300; tho amount of a bequest in the terms of tho will of Mr. William Wadliam, has been received from the Public Trustee. The, board resolved that the amount bb invested in the purchase of debentures, and a special. fund account be opened. . It was decided that, subject to the approval of the Department, the tender of Mr. H. H. Oliver for £690 16s. (tho lowest) should be recommended for acceptance for the erections of additions at Otaki Hospital to replace buildings des+Toyed by_ firo. The following tenders were accepted': —Messrs. E. and I). Tingey, for painting- the old outpatients' building. Messrs.. A. and T. Burt, for providing and fixing 160-gallon copper cylinder complete for hot-water service, Victoria Hospital. . '
