PETONE COURT
Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., presided at tlie monthly sitting of the Petoue Magistrate's Court yesterday. Charles Clutterbuck pleaded guilty to a charge of. trespassing on the Petone railway lino, and a fine of 10s., with costs 75., was imposed, default being fixed at 48 hours' imprisonment.' Wm. Wallace, who admitted entering a licensed bil Hard saloon, while under _ tlie oge of 21 years, was fined 55., with costs 7s. Owing- to tho European war, a number of Territorial cases wero adjourned siuo die. Judgment ,by default was givenin the following undefended civil cases: Sibun, Ltd. v. Jas. Clutterbuck. £1 9s. 9d., costs ss. j same v. James M'Rae, £1 19s. lid., costs, 55.; Geo. Jones v. Wm. Mills, £3 95., costs ss. Sibun, Ltd., proceeded against Herbert H. Gribble to recover the sum of 9s. 9d. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the sum of 9s. 3d., with costs 6s.
