"OFFICER 666."

» ' , That sparkling comedy, "Officer fIGG," wag again successfully, staged, by the' Niblo Company at ■ the Grand Opera House last evening. The comedy is remarkable for its lively action, and is full of. quaint incidents and pleasant surprises. ' It is impossible to imagine at any time what is going to happen next, and innumerable laughter-provoking situations afford ample scope for the talents of Mr. Fred Niblo, Miss Josephine Cohan and the. clever company of comedians by whom they are supported. Mr. Niblo gave a; delightful Tendering of' the chsuv acter of the ready-witted Gladwin, and Miss Cohan was most effective in the role of/Helen Burton.' The subordinate parts are all capably borne. Mr. E. Pine . Bush was responsible for a really admirable interpretation of tho character of a young swell. From first -to lost the comedy goes with a happy swing. The story is as original as it is amusing, , and the mariner of its stage presentation by the I Niblo' Company left very little indeed to be desired.
