Hill presided at a meeting of the Coimcil of the Wellington Centra of the ■ Royal Life-Saving Society last evening. . . t It was :deoided thait the Dominion Executive Council be asked to investigate the .matter of the balance of tho amount in the hands of the Auckland swimming authorities (amounting to some ,£7O), as the Wellington Head. Centre had every reason to believe that.a considerable portion of it should, bq refunded to the humane' grant..Mr. W. Henry, secretary of the Royal Life-Saving Society.
