In the two big jumping events most of the horses that contested the National will again bo saddled up. ■ Big fields are. the order of the day, and in most races.the.,results' seem difficult to anticipate.;,-;' ",. In' the Aylesbury Steeplechase, Lady •Bibbero will be up against a'better lot than she met on Thursday.' but as she is such, a-very safe conveyance her chances may be preferred to the.e-thoi'S..; Several of the runners • in the' Heathcote Handicap are engaged "in the Selwyn Handicap, and tho intentions of owners are not knowu at this stage., Haskayno .ran a good race, in the open six furlongs 011 Thursday,, and he and;Kaniki are liko:iy tb.'b? fancied; in the. Heatbcpte.-Handi-'.cap" to'day."' Slogan has -been 1 raised "lb. , '; for.Tunning third -in ■'.the. Winfer,' Cup, but he will not.waht for,supporters.:to-day, ~Most'oittoaoceptors.ln:tlw:Styx Han.

dicap Hurdles will face the Btartor. Cheddar, list. 21b., was.showing a bold front iu the National Hurdles when ho foil five furlongs from homo; Corrie, who finished fourth in tho National Hurdles, is under offer to an Australian buyer, but her owner will not consider tho deal until after to-day's race. Morecambe seems to be improving with every race, and on this account may be the final selection in tho Sydenham Hurdles to-day. Hatana and Fashion Plate aro also likely, to he inquired for. Hereford, Cheddar, and Diavolo figure in both hurdle races. Exotic will bo a fresh horse in tho Lincoln Steeples, but most p-eorle will pin their faith to tho National winner, Tim Doolan, who is a perfect jumper and a great stayer. Paritutu has been dropped a stono, and is now only tho minimum. In..the absence of Encore the Hastingsowned Rigo Park may command most attention in the Eodcliffe Handicap. Mummer will bo better supported to-day than ho has been previously as he seems to be coming on with the Tacing ho is getting. Others likely to be sought after are Specialform (Deelev), Encore (W. Bell), and Kew (W. Price). . The meeting will be concluded with the Hunters' Plate, an event for gentlemen riders.- 'The Hawera mare Nita will have the services of Mr. S. Goddard.
