Mr..'Hush J. Ward, of the J. C. Williamson, Ltd., directorate, has been appointed a member of tho Council of the New Sou Hi Wales Conservatoire of Musio (tho State institution which is to be established in the historic Government House, situated next to the Sydney Botoiiical Gardens). Mr. Ward is not strictly speaking, a musician, but Mrs. Ward is qnito a good musician and a very'beautiful singer. .
