In the first half of the game, the winners only beat down the strong defence once, Miss Benge scoring. Four moregoals were added in the latter portion of the game, Misses Brown', Flockton, Betage, and M'Donnell being responsible. . JUNIOB GAMES. Girls' College defeated Eainbler by 3 goals to nil. Technical College beat University by 1 goal to nil. . ENGLISH LADIES'THIRD WIN. (By Telograph—Press Association.) , •••'';. Hastings, August 8. The English ladies' team played their third match to-day, when they defeated Hawke's Bay by 3 to nil. There was little difference between the teams, and play was even throughout.. The visitors' combination, however, was magnificent, and won them the game.
