The New Zealand Flaxmillors' Association, a<. its annual meeting on Thursdaj, ■ elected the following officers :'— President, Mr. Herman Seifert; vicepi esident, Mr. C. 0. Higginson; treasurer, MrR. T. Bell; executive, Messrs. E L. Broad, H. Greig, J. Licguis, A. Self art, A'. -Brown, L. Seifert, H. Akers. A Ross W. Bock, and W; Ross; A complaint of under-grading by the Government graders was discussed. This complaint was attributed to the graders being terrorised bv :complaints from the Australian merchants, who thus provoked a continual grading up. Hemp, which three years ago would have been graded high to fair, was not,..it was stated, only good to fair, causing'the loss of thousands of pounds to New Zealand interests.' : ■• • ' ■
