Mr. G. Frost presided at'last night's meeting of the Wellington Technical Education Board, and there were alsopresent: The Hon. J. G. W. Ajtken, Messrs. J. E. Fitzgerald, and T. C. A. Hislop. .'■'■'■ ■■ ■ ■
. Leave of absence was granted to the chairman (Mr. D.' Robertson), who was ahsent through illness. . •,
•..The Electricians' Board of Control reported that at a recent meeting the following resolution had/been adopted: ''(a) That this board strongly recommends ■ that wiremen be registered throughout the Dominion, I "and'that a uniform examination throughout the Dominion be adopted; , ■ _ "(b) That the examinations and registration be managed by a board-simi-lar- in general constitution to the Plumbers' Board of New Zealand; and # "(c) That the chairman (Mr. Stuart Richardson).and Messrs. Robinson and Elackley wait on the Government Electrical Engineer (Mr. Parry) in this matter and report to the board." Tho report was adopted.
