Mahmoud, a young Egyptian student, son of Mehmot Mizaffer Pasha, fired several shots',''slightly wounding the Khedive on the arm and cheek, also the Khedive's son-in-law in the leg. The Khedivo was leaving tho Grand Vizier's Ccurt. The escort immediately shot Mahmoud dead.
